Problems with the Official Majdanek Narrative

Maintaining Majdanek as a death camp has been tricky business for Holocaust fabulists. As you can see in the image below, the Holocaust Encyclopedia, which is run by the United States Holocaust Memorial and Museum, no longer classifies Majdanek as an extermination camp. (See my article here for more about that.) Majdanek is such a thorn in the side of the official Holocaust narrative that few films and television shows were made about it. As of writing this article, the Internet Movie Database (IMDb) only has three tags for Majdanek. Auschwitz, on the other hand, has been tagged 240 times. In this article I will explore some of the issues with the official Majdanek narrative.

According to the State Museum at Majdanek (SMM), the Germans attempted to keep the alleged homicidal gassing in Majdanek a secret:

Camp prisoners usually had no opportunity to closely observe what happened around the chambers, least of all within the chambers themselves. The Majdanek authorities tried to keep the gassings of people a secret. In an attempt to maintain secrecy, they typically took place in the evening or at night and during the execution, a tractor or truck engine was kept running to drown out the screams of the murdered people. A Polish female prisoner who was employed in the tailor shop, situated near the road leading from the prison fields to the bathhouses and gas chambers, recalls: ‘I remember that when I worked the night shift at the tailor shop, the Germans drowned out the screams of gassed people with a working tractor, which was kept running at the time’ [APMM, Memoirs and reports, VII-296, Maria Bohdanowicz, Witness interrogation protocol, p. 2].

However, the location and management of the camp betrays this claim. According to Jürgen Graf and Carlo Mattogno’s book, Concentration Camp Majdanek—A Historical and Technical Study:

… the entire grounds of the camp were completely open to sight, and the camp itself was surrounded by the towns Dzesiąta, Abramowice, Kosminek and Kalinowka as well as the Lublin-Chełm-Zamość-Lwów road. Any mass murders actually taking place in Majdanek could not have been kept secret, particularly – but not only – because of the steady flow of information leaving the camp on a daily basis and by various means:
➢ Reports by released inmates (approximately 20,000 of them!). Most of these were Poles who had been arrested and sent to the camp in the course of police raids, on suspicion of being members of the Resistance. Many of these prisoners were released after a short time.
➢ Letters and secret messages smuggled out of the camp by the inmates (cf. Chapter III).
➢ Reports by the free civilian laborers employed in the camp. We have already seen in Chapter I how numerous these were in Majdanek.
➢ Reports by the food suppliers who came to the camp every day with their wares. (source: page 160)

The following aerial photo from the book, Air-Photo Evidence—World War Two Photos of Alleged Mass Murder Sites Analyzed, further illustrates the fact that Majdanek was not isolated by any means.

Now that we know that SMM’s claim of secrecy doesn’t make sense, perhaps you can go with the following statement made by Wikipedia’s entry on Majdanek that contradicts SMM:

Majdanek was refurbished as a killing center around March 1942. The gassing was performed in plain view of other inmates, without as much as a fence around the buildings.

As you will recall, thousands of inmates were released from Majdanek. If one were to believe Wikipedia’s statement, that would mean that you would have to accept that the Germans performed the gassings in plain view and then released thousands of inmates to tell the world about it. How can it be that neither of these two contradictory statements make sense? That is simply because both Wikipedia and SMM a priori assume the false premise that the Germans were murdering Jews in homicidal gas chambers.

Poles involved with the resistance weren’t the only inmates to be released from Majdanek. See below the table of contents from the book The Death Train by Luba Krugman Gurdus. Gurdus was a Jewish WW2 survivor. According to her story, she was released from Majdanek along with thirteen other women. What kind of genocidal regime allows the people they are trying to murder go free from their killing centers? Even if the Germans didn’t want to kill these specific women for whatever reason, releasing them would still endanger the secrecy of the gassing operation.

In my latest article about the alleged homicidal gas chambers in Majdanek, I talked about how the number of chambers went from seven to two or three. And after studying all the information surrounding these supposed homicidal gas chambers the conclusion to be drawn is that they were used to delouse items like clothing and bedding. A disease-curbing, life saving procedure.

There is also the issue of a drastically reduced death count, not just for Majdanek, but for most of the camps. The image below illustrates drastic changes these counts went through over the decades:

About this over exaggerated death count, the Wikipedia entry on Majdanek that was mentioned earlier has this to say:

The differences between the estimates stem from different methods used and the amounts of evidence available to the researchers. The Soviet figures relied on the crudest methodology, used for Auschwitz estimates also —it assumed that the number of victims more or less corresponded to the crematoria capacitu. (My emphasis added.)

That’s a funny way of saying that they made it up.

Holocaust fabulists will tell you that changes made to the Holocaust story have been made because new information was uncovered, which is half true. The part they leave out is the fact that the “uncovered information” makes it so they can no longer get away with older lies, thus the lies have to be adjusted.
