Thanks to Jake Shields, I am compelled to take a short detour from my “Who Started WW2” series and re-address the wooden door question. Because a post Shields made I learned something new.
I’ve made it no secret that the wooden door argument is not my favorite. It is possible for a wooden door to be suitable for a gas chamber. Possible, but not smart. The Germans used metal doors on their delousing chambers so why wouldn’t they do the same with the alleged homicidal gas chambers? Still, it is possible. Reminder that being possible doesn’t make it true.
Then there’s the fact that the Holocaust fabulists at the Jewish Virtual Library says that there is no physical evidence as to how the gas chamber doors looked. This gives them the possibility that it might have been a metal door.
Turns out the Jewish Virtual Library was either lying or just plain wrong, but we will get to that in due time. First let’s talk about this post from Jake Shields. Despite any criticisms I have of Shields’ accuracy, I applaud him for questioning Holocaust claims to such a large audience.
The thing is, none of those doors pictured above are claimed to have been doors from homicidal gas chambers, so I’m not sure what his point is. All he is showing us is that there are wooden doors at Auschwitz that weren’t used for homicidal gas chambers. Still, wooden doors are such a meme that Shields’ received much backlash from Holocaust narrative enjoyers.
Then I was made aware of this post:
I had not seen such a claim before. So I looked into it. Turns out the post was not from the official Auschwitz Museum Instagram page. However, I was able to find a video that confirms the claim.
That means this is a wooden door that Holocaust fabulist officials claim was used for a gas chamber. You can use this picture in memes and be accurate. Just keep in mind that this door is damaged so we can not say for sure whether it was suitable for use as a gas chamber door or not.

In my humble opinion, as a person who has written over 200 articles on the topic, there are more solid arguments against the alleged homicidal gas chambers. Like the Sonderkommando going into the chamber minutes after the alleged gassing when the cyanide levels in the room still would have been lethal. Or that the crematories did not have the capacity to cremate one million bodies and there is no evidence for the claim that bodies were burned outdoors in massive pits. We have the fact that Holocaust fabulists cannot account for the lack of Prussian Blue in the alleged gas chambers. Plus the whole supposed process is just absurd (see image below).
Making accurate memes about the illegitimacy of the Holocaust narrative can be difficult because of the complex nature of the discourse, but it can be done. Who knows, I might even run across a wooden door meme that changes my mind about its viability as an argument.
