The official narrative of the Operation Reinhard camps are rife with problems. Some examples that I have already written about include, the fact no proper crime scene investigations of the camps were performed, orthodox Holocaust historians cannot explain where the wood for the cremation of over one million bodies came from, and that there are actually no traces of the alleged homicidal gas chambers in the camps.
In this series I will address the claims made about the alleged homicidal gas chamber in the Treblinka so-called death camp. The following paragraph is from the the Holocaust Encyclopedia (HE) which is a part of the United States Holocaust Memorial and Museum (USHMM). The USHMM receives millions of dollars through private donations , and government funding, to spread Holocaust affirming propaganda. Anyway, it says here that there was a large DIESEL engine that pumped ‘carbon monoxide (CO) exhaust’ into fake shower rooms.
Yes, that’s right.The Germans, who are renown for their engineering prowess, employed a diesel engine to allegedly murder 900,000 Jews in Treblinka while they were facing crippling fuel shortages (see image below).
Consider the information fomr the two Bing info boxes below (it’s interesting that Holocaust Denial on Trial is referenced when asking about CO concentrations in engine exhaust). Diesel exhaust contains 1% CO while regular gasoline exhaust contains between 7% and 12% CO. Calling diesel engine exhaust ‘carbon monoxide exhaust’, as HE did, is not exactly accurate.
Engineer Friedrich Paul Berg wrote a paper called, Diesel Gas Chambers: Ideal for Torture – Absurd for Murder. In it Berg explores the feasibility of using diesel engines as a tool of mass murder. To do this Berg examined the testimony of SS Officer Kurt Gerstein and other eyewitness testimony. Berg also studied diesel engines and the toxicity of diesel exhaust. The extent of his studies are complex and out of the scope of this article. I encourage any inquiring minds to read Berg’s paper in full.
I will share a few important things from Berg’s paper that the Holocaust story tellers probably did not consider when crafting their narrative. First it is important to note that the CO concentration must be 0.8%/vol to be fatal for less than an half hour of exposure.
The matter of concentration levels leads us to the issue of engine loads. An idling engine will not produce the amount of CO to required be lethal in the time frame of less than one half hour. Revving the engine while it is in neutral also will not produce a high enough concentration of CO. A sufficient engine load to reach the required concentrations of CO would require a complicated setup with equipment that was most likely unavailable to the camps.
Also of importance is a empirical study of the effects of diesel exhaust on variou small animals. This study appeared in the British Journal of industrial Medicine in 1957. When the test was done with the engine in an idle condition none of the animals died, even after 5 hours of exposure. When the engine was under a heavy load most of the animals survived. Even under extreme conditions (see the last paragraph in the image below) the larger animals were able to survive for more than an hour. Thank you little animals for your sacrifice in the quest for truth.
At the end of Berg’s paper he concludes, “Although it would have been theoretically possible to commit the deeds alleged for Treblinka, Belzec, and Sobibor with Diesel engines, it would have required an inordinate amount of expertise and determination as well as technical apparatus to impose or simulate sufficient load on the Diesel engines. Such expertise is not even remotely indicated by the eyewitness testimony or by any other evidence. Even if all the necessary conditions had been met, the would-be murderers would ultimately have had an arrangement which at best (worst?) would still have been only marginally effective at its morbid task. It would be hard to imagine a mass murder method more awkward and more inefficient. Even if some deranged minds had tried for a time to commit murder with Diesel exhaust, after a few tries it would have become apparent to even the most demented fiend that something far better was needed. The idea that the National Socialists actually used such a method not just for a few fiendish experiments, but continually over many months in several different locations is too preposterous. It never happened!”
