In part one I discussed why it is problematic to claim that the Sonderkommando cut the alleged gassing victims’ hair after the alleged gassing due to cyanide contamination. So why would Holocaust fabulists tell such a problematic lie? Although one can only speculate, however, the answer could be as simple as Jan Sehn’s investigation. It is possible that the story was crafted to fit with the materials that existed in the camp. Afterall, Holocaust fabulists have a record of doing this. Zyklon B, which was used to delouse materials and save lives by reducing the spread of disease, was turned into a murder weapon. Cremation facilities, which also helped reduce the spread of disease, were turned into murder facilities. It is also possible that the narrative crafters just didn’t know how cyanide gas worked. This is evident by things like them not knowing what color a person that has been killed with cyanide gas is.
Back to Sehn. Thanks to Germar Rudolf’s book, The Chemistry of Auschwitz, I can tell you all about his investigation and the problems with it (pages 47-49).
On June 4, 1945—about four months after Auschwitz was liberated—Jan Sehn and the Polish prosecutor Edward Pachalski sent several items that were allegedly from Auschwitz/Birkenau to test for cyanide residue. The results were to be used in the 1946 Polish trial against Rudolf Hoess, one of the former Auschwitz camp commandants and key witness at the IMT. He was also a man who had been brutally tortured before he gave his confession. Included with the samples was a large bag of hair. Interesting side note: mortar from the alleged homicidal gas chamber was also tested, but the results were not mentioned in the report.
The hair tested positive for cyanide and, of course, the only conclusion we are supposed to draw is that this is smoking gun proof that millions of people were gassed and their hair cut off postmortem. I will summarize why Germar concluded that this test was useless for evidence of homicidal gassings having taken place at Auschwitz.
- The tests were qualitative, not quantitative. Meaning that they could only determine whether cyanide was present, but not how much of it was there.
- The tests could not determine whether the hair came from a living or dead person. Remember, you don’t have to murder someone to cut their hair. This alone renders these forensic findings invalid for evidence of homicidal gas chambers.
- It is documented at the IMT in Nuremberg that the Germans saved hair over a certain length for industrial purposes. I have my doubts about the authenticity of this order considering article 19 of the IMT (relaxed rules on the allowance of evidence). However, if it is legitimate, it is an explanation of why there would be cyanide-contaminated hair. Furthermore, Holocaust officials who accept the IMT as legitimate must accept this evidence. Therefore they must accept there is an alternate explanation for the presence of the cyanide-contaminated hair other than homicidal gassings.
This is just my opinion, not Rudolf’s, but I don’t necessarily trust that Sehn’s investigation was on the up and up. This is because I looked into this Sehn character, including reading CoDoH’s Holocaust Encyclopedia’s entry on him.
Jan Sehn was a Polish investigative judge and a member of the Polish Central Commission for the Investigation of German Crimes in Poland (CCPCPN). Remembering the some of the crazy claims the soviet’s Extraordinary State Commission made, I was wondering if the CCPCPN has some of their own. However, I’m going to have to keep wondering as the Polish Institute of National Remembrance, who control the archive of those type of documents, doesn’t make them publicly available. And no, they wouldn’t consider me to be a journalist.
Back to Sehn. To quote the CoDoH Holocaust Encyclopedia:
Sehn was charged with assisting the Polish prosecution in preparing the upcoming two Stalinist show trials against former camp commandant Rudolf Höss on the one hand, and against several former lower-ranking camp officials on the other. From the vast documentation, and with the help of Polish engineer Roman Dawidowski, Sehn cherry-picked ambivalent documents that included terms such as “gas,” “gastight,” and “gas chamber,” or “sonder” and “spezial” (meaning “separate” or “special”), ripped them out of their documental and historical context, and mispresented them as circumstantial evidence allegedly proving that homicidal gas chambers existed at the former camp, and had been used for mass murder.
(…)
Jan Sehn and all his followers ignored and hid from the courts, from the defense and from the public that the vast extant Auschwitz documentation actually proves the exact opposite of their narrative: terms such as “gas chamber” always refer to disinfestation gas chambers meant to save inmate lives, not take them. Furthermore, the camp authorities had gone to great lengths and enormous efforts and expenses in their desperate attempts at improving living conditions and thus survival chances for all inmates. (See the section “Documented History” of the entry on the Birkenau Camp and on healthcare for details.)
I did see “healthcare” for details and found the following in Carlo Mattogno’s Book, Healthcare in Auschwitz. This is a German document that puts the orthodox narrative on its head. Why would the Germans worry about having enough beds for sick inmates when we’ve been told that anyone that couldn’t work was gassed?

It’s clear that Jan Sehn was anti-German and used his position of power to falsely incriminate them. His attempt to prove homicidal gassings with his discovery of cyanide-contaminated hair in Auschwitz is a failure and thus we are left with another example of ‘forensic evidence’ for the Holocaust that doesn’t hold water.
This isn’t related to the article but have you ever looked into the story of Klaus Barbie “The butcher of lyons”? A lot of his alleged crimes seem to be greatly sensationalized, as is typical with this type of thing.
On his wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klaus_Barbie# there is a particularly egregious example of it in the ‘second world war’ section where they state that he allegedly trained german shepherds to bite and rape naked women. It sounds absolutely ridiculous.
I haven’t but it sounds like a good topic to look into.
Hair is ground zero for lice. Any hair shipped out for disposal or industrial use that didn’t contain zyklon would be evidence of inhumane negligence.
