Ranking Revisionist Arguments Part Two

Part 1, Part 3

Please be sure to read part one if you’re unfamiliar with this format! I’m going to kick off part two with one of the weak arguments.

BUCHENWALD “FAKE” PHOTOGRAPH

The following tweet was well liked and seen millions of times. Unfortunately, it is incorrect.

This image is not fake. The author of the tweet above is making this assumption because The New York Times published the photo without the standing man on the right (see below).

Having previously read the revisionist work Elie Wiesel, Saint of the Holocaust, by Warren B. Routledge, I was familiar with the story behind this photograph. The original photo had the standing man it it and The New York Times removed him for whatever reason.

Even if one didn’t know that The New York Times altered the photo, it still doesn’t make sense to fake a starving man in a camp full of starving people. There’s a whole wall of them on the left. What would be the purpose of risking exposure as a liar to fake something that doesn’t need to be faked? Because the photo is not faked and you potentially look stupid for saying so, this on gets an F.

Now let’s take that F and turn it into a B like me in elementary school on my math report card. Take a look at another page from Routledge’s book. Here we see Elie Wiesel, who we can see has testified in at least one court of law, is pointing to a man from the Buchenwald (the caption is wrong about it being Auschwitz) photo that is supposedly him.

TL;DR: He claimed he was “between life and death” in the infirmary when the photo was taken. You can also just look at these two images and wonder how Wiesel miraculously reversed aged after the war.

To catch such an important figure to the Holocaust narrative in a straight up lie is B-tier and much more worthwhile than claiming that real photographs are fake.

SOAP MADE FROM DEAD JEWS

I have previously written about soap made from murdered Jews and how Holocaust officials have admitted that it isn’t real.

Revising historical understanding based on new information in itself is nothing out of the ordinary, and Holocaust officials doing so with soap isn’t a big deal on the surface. But there is more to the story and many teachable moments. Of course, none of these things disprove the Holocaust on their own, but they are discrediting to those that promote the Holocaust narrative.

The Haaretz article from the image above says that despite witness testimony, scholars have come to the conclusion that soap made from murdered Jews is a myth. What does that tell us? That scholars accepted the existence of the soap based on testimony that had no physical evidence to back it up. That is not a very scholarly thing to do and, more importantly, speaks to a pattern.

Then we have the interesting fact that the claim of manufacturing soap from human corpses was leveled at Germany during WW1—a claim that was also shown to be false.

Not all Jewish instructions are in agreement that the murdered Jew soap meme should be given up. The World Jewish Congress (JWC) published the following article (see below) claiming that “The Nazi occupiers of Poland used ‘substances’ from the bodies of concentration camp prisoners to make soap, according to a study carried out by Poland’s National Remembrance Institute (IPN).“

The JWC is taking a finding and dishonestly presenting it. In the image below, Germar Rudolf explains how the soap was not made from murdered Jews, or any murdered person. Rather, it was already known that a Dr. Spanner, who worked at the Anatomical Institute in Danzing, obtained the human materials from medical cadavers and only used the soap, probably out of need due to supply shortages, for cleaning, not personal hygiene. Yet the JWC would rather you believe the meme that German ladies were using fancy soaps made out of murdered Jews.

The last teachable moment is a perfect segue for our next item. Nearly forty years after the end of the war, Yad Vashem admitted that the existence of soap made from murdered Jews was a “‘mere rumor.” Funny then that a mere rumor was mentioned at the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg (IMT). What does that tell us about the IMT? We’ll get to that.

In the end this is just a normal bar of soap. I give this talking point a B.

THE INTERNATIONAL MILITARY TRIBUNAL AT NUREMBERG (IMT)

One might think that the IMT is an argument for Holocaust fabulists, not revisionists. However, it only works on the side of the fabulists when they are the ones presenting the information about the IMT. They will assure you that the IMT was a legitimate court of law and they will let you believe that it proved the Holocaust narrative and the guilt of the Germans.

In reality, the IMT was a show trial run by Germany’s wartime enemies and had no neutral parties present. Nothing like being tried by your accusers! I have written many articles addressing the myriad of problems with the IMT and why it was an illegitimate court of law. For the purposes of this article I’d like to focus on one small but significant detail. Take a gander at Article 21 from the IMT charter:

What this means that all the official documents and reports accusing Germany of heinous crimes were deemed to be true and factual by the IMT. Because of this, these documents were never scrutinized before the public eye and this also prevented the German “defendants” from properly defending themselves. If they would have testified that there was no plan for genocide or no homicidal gas chambers they would have been in contempt of court. Later Holocaust trails used the precedent of the IMT to establish German guilt without the pesky task of actually proving it. If German crimes were so real why did the Allies need to set up an elaborate kangaroo court and then continue to cover up that fact to this day? What kind of court takes judicial notice of the crimes levied against the accused?

I consider this to be an S-tier argument, and I have confidence that one of my dear readers can make an accurate meme out of this.
