Holocaust fabulists would prefer that you defer to their authority and not do any actual thinking for yourself. What do you know? You’re just a random person. You don’t have the credentials to question Holocaust claims. Just listen and believe.
With that in mind, let’s look at some more crazy claims about open-air cremation.
In order to know the extent of the absurdity of the claims that Holocaust Denial on Trial (HDoT) is making, I need to start by repeating the conclusion of their article:
The Hindu cremation pyre is not a helpful comparison for the mass incinerations at the Operation Reinhard camps. Evidence shows that the Hindu method of cremation is much less fuel efficient than the mass cremations at Treblinka, Belzec, and Sobibor.
Now that we know that HDoT is asserting that the mass incinerations in the Operation Reinhard camps are more efficient than a Hindu cremation pyre, let us look at HDoT’s reasons why:
The Nazis’ cremation grills differ greatly from a single Hindu cremation pyre: (1) the number of remains (about 2,000) on each grill at the camps, (2) the close proximity of the remains to each other (they were piled several feet high at the camps), and (3) the large size of the grills at the camps (about 66 square meters or 710 square feet).[4]
We are supposed to believe that because the grills were large and piled high with bodies that this makes them more efficient than a single body that is directly on a fire. (If you haven’t read part one, do so now so you know why this isn’t the case). Furthermore, if you are someone that has ever cooked, you know that piling food on top of each other makes it cook slower. Notice these pictures of hamburgers on the grill that I got by searching the most efficient way to cook one. No one in their right mind would cook them in a pile because you’d waste all your propane/coals since it would take much longer to cook.

It gets worse:
These conditions would have contributed significantly to the combustion process. Once the fire had been started, this reduced or eliminated the need for constantly adding more wood. In addition, the flow of oxygen under the grill would have aided the process, making it more fuel efficient—just as experts in India are advocating today.
I am bringing back this image from the Dean Irebodd’s experiment I talked about in part one to show that even if we assume that it is true that the fire was aided by oxygen flow, it doesn’t matter. As the fire consumes the fuel the space between the heat source and whatever is being cremated grows. If you’re not constantly adding wood, the fire will die down and get further and further from the bodies being cremated to the point where the combustion process will just stop. If the Germans were cremating bodies in the way that the Holocaust fabulists claim, then they would need to be constantly be adding fuel to the fire. Fabulists don’t want to admit this because then they have to explain where all the wood would have come from. In fact, if you were to read my three-part series on the topic, you would see that they can’t explain where all the cremation fuel would have come from without making the type of absurd and dishonest claims they are making here.
The outdoor cremation process couldn’t have worked the way the Holocaust fabulists claim, period, end of story. If the Holocaust is so real why do they have to assure us all these absurd, reality-defying claims are true?
Before I go, let’s have a little bit more fun. Here is another passage from Yitzhak Arad’s book, Belzec, Sobibor, Treblinka: the Operation Reinhard death, that I talked about in part one:
Another special prisoner team, known as the “ash group” (Aschkolonne), had the task of collecting the ash and removing the remains of the charred bones from the grill and placing them on tin sheets. Round wooden sticks were then used to break the bones into small fragments. These were then run through a tightly woven screen made of metal wire; those bone fragments which did not pass through the screen were returned for further smashing. Unburned bones which proved difficult to fragment were returned to the roaster and reignited with a new pile of bodies. (source)
Just close your eyes and image the sound that would have made. Now open your eyes and check out this article I wrote in response to HDoT defending this idiotic bone crushing story. Enjoy!
These conditions would have contributed significantly to the combustion process. Once the fire had been started, this reduced or eliminated the need for constantly adding more wood.
This seems to be a variation of the claim that fat or tissue in human bodies means they sort of burn on their own, you just have to ignite them — here they are apparently implying less fuel is needed because the burning corpses release fat that serves as fuel to support continued combustion, i.e. in place of more wood — I’m not sure who is stupider, the person who believes and writes this, or someone who reads and believes it.
Supposedly, exterminations at Auschwitz II began before the crematoria were finished — the bodies were burned in pits (I’m not aware that any attempt has ever been made to find and forensically investigate these pits) — I seem to recall hearing that Höss says somewhere in Kommandant in Auschwitz that fat from burning Jews would collect in the pits, and they would use buckets to scoop it up and pour it back onto the corpses to help them burn faster.
Some of the Sonderkommandos said that they collected human fat to use as fuel to burn bodies. Quite ridiculous.
