A friend of the site let me in on a new ADL Holocaust propaganda project. Even though we’ve been assured that there is overwhelming, irrefutable evidence of the Holocaust, it is the only historical event that has to actively promote the official narrative while suppressing revisionists.
There is a lot to unpack from this new ADL ‘resource hub’, but today I want to focus on the following section of ‘Key Tropes in Holocaust Denial’.
Before I jump into the tropes it is important to know what a trope is, and what it is not. I asked my robot assistant, Bill, if a trope was the same thing as a lie. His response was, “No, a trope and a lie are not the same thing. They refer to different concepts.(…)While both tropes and lies may involve elements of storytelling or communication, they are fundamentally different in nature. Tropes are literary or storytelling devices, while lies are intentionally false statements made with the intent to deceive. It’s important to understand the distinction between the two in order to effectively analyze and interpret narratives, and to maintain honesty and integrity in communication.” Thank you Bill! (Information that Bill (ChatGPT provided has been fact checked.)
Let’s look at a Holocaust denial trope presented by the ADL. Just to be clear, the following is the entire section for that topic.
The ADL is saying that it is a trope, or cliche- but not a lie- to say witness testimony is fabricated or inaccurate. You may recall that in a previous article Bill informed me about the privileges that Holocaust testimony enjoys (see image below). Holocaust survivor testimony is not scrutinized and this unscrutinized testimony is used to establish ‘facts’ about the Holocaust. Because most of the Holocaust is based on unscrutinized testimony it only makes sense that revisionists do the job of scrutinizing. Much of Holocaust testimony is contradictory with other testimony and with reality. Yet the witnesses that make these absurd claims are taken seriously and their testimony is cherry picked for details that bolster the official narrative.
The ADL uses the examples of Anne Frank and Elie Wiesel, repeating the Holocaust denier claims that Frank’s diary is a forgery (there’s a good case for it) and that Wiesel’s Night has no historical value.
Night has historical value, it’s factual value that it is actually lacking. When the book was first released it was promoted non-fiction. In Night Wiesel claimed that the Nazis threw Jews alive into massive outdoor fire pits. Aerial photos of Auschwitz/Birkenau that were declassified in 1979 and revealed Wiesel’s story as a utter lie. Today his book is labeled as fiction and children’s literature.

Instead of having an open debate, Holocaust promoters like the ADL attempt to discredit anyone that would question the Holocaust as an evil antisemite (notice how they never call them liars). They use their authority and resources to gaslight the populace into believing that the Holocaust is an established fact when it has never been established, not even at the Nuremberg trials. Even in this section about Holocaust denial tropes they are not defending their claims, they are simply presenting the idea of questioning the Holocaust as something that should be scorned and dismissed.
